DISCOVERING THE RURAL LANDSCAPE OF CARNIA

This app features short photographic themes, designed by the photographer Ulderica Da Pozzo, on the maps of Casa Editrice Tabacco, to offer a selection of starting points and suggestions for discovering the most authentic aspects of the rural landscape of Carnia, able to reveal the true soul of these valleys.
The proposed itineraries will lead you to unfamiliar landscapes that are often well off the beaten track. It will be an opportunity to explore places with unique charm, to taste and buy local produce, but also to meet and get to know the people whose toil has shaped and preserved these landscapes.

MAIN FUNCTIONS:

WARNING: A Continued use of GPS, also in background mode, can lead to a considerable battery consumption, resulting in reduced autonomy.
ZOOM: Both cartography and pictures are zoomable for a better view.
TRACK RECORD: Using the built-in GPS , you can easily record your own excursions, assigning to each one different color and a description, so they can be immediately recognized.
HIGHLIGHTS: During the excursion you can identify different Points of Interest (POI), to which you can assign an icon chosen from the many available (for example: Car park, scenic spot, mountain pass etc.).
IMPORT: It is possible to import tracks with a gpx file.
PICTURES: Along the route, you can take pictures that will be stored and georeferenced for future reference.
PLACE NAMES: within the CarniaMapp you can search for a name belonging to this geographic area. If it is present, but not physically visible on the cartography, the map is displayed with the place name at the center of the display.
